The title is the argument, and it leaves almost no room for negotiation. Vernon Coleman has been researching and writing about vaccination for fifty years, the description says, has lectured doctors and nurses on the subject, and used to debate it on television and radio; the same copy states that he won every public debate and that vaccine supporters will no longer appear against him. That is the pitch: an insider with credentials, a long record, and a claim that the other side has gone quiet. The audiobook runs three hours and forty-seven minutes, and the thing to settle before starting is not whether you agree with the conclusion. It is which sort of book you are holding: a review of evidence, or a case put by a practiced advocate.

Reasoning That Never Cites a Bibliography

Coleman's method is the thing to understand, and the column describes it more accurately than the description manages. An entry from 2015 says plainly that the book does not so much hand a reader a mass of empirical evidence as put a case before them, with the reasoning doing the heavy lifting, and that same entry adds that data does get cited along the way. As a characterization of the mode, that is fair and it is useful. What you get is argument, structured and confident, with evidence recruited to serve it. Whether that mode is adequate to a subject this consequential is a decision every listener has to make alone, and knowing the mode in advance is worth more than any summary of the conclusions.

Whatever else the description does, it is honest about what it is selling. The facts about vaccination, it says, so that you can make up your own mind. The credentials follow immediately, MB ChB DSc FRSA, then the fifty years, then the lectures given to doctors and nurses. What the description never mentions is a bibliography, a reference list, a set of studies or a single named source, and for a book whose title accuses an entire profession of lying, that absence is the first thing a careful listener should notice. A claim of this size normally arrives with an apparatus bolted to it, and a listener has no way to check one that does not appear on the page.

Seventy-Two Pages Don't Match Three Hours of Audio

Seventy-two pages is how long an entry from August 2022 reports the book to be, and that response repays a close reading. It describes a self-identified slow reader who found the material engaging enough not to have to double back, and names the short length as the reason it was not intimidating. Two things follow. Brevity is genuinely the point here, since this is a pamphlet-scale argument rather than a survey and it was built to be finished. And seventy-two pages and three hours and forty-seven minutes of audio do not obviously describe the same object, which is the first hint that this page has more than one edition stacked underneath it.

Dissent is a legitimate thing to want to hear, and it is the strongest reason to spend three and three quarter hours here. Anyone trying to understand why vaccine skepticism persists in countries with universal access will learn more from a fluent, credentialed statement of the position than from a hundred paraphrases of it. The argument is neither stupid nor incoherent, and pretending otherwise has not worked for anybody. Hearing it as it is actually made is a real service, and the whole thing fits inside a single afternoon. That is a different reason to listen than agreement, and it is the more defensible one.

Five Reviews From Before This Recording Existed

Evidence about this particular edition is where the page comes apart, and the numbers deserve walking through. The audio carries a release date of May 21, 2025. Every one of the five written responses attached to the listing was filed before that date, the earliest in November 2014 and the most recent in August 2022, which puts the oldest of them more than a decade ahead of the recording it now appears to describe. The counts then contradict each other. The page reports an average of 4.7 drawn from three ratings, and it displays five written responses, every one of them carrying a five-star grade. Five graded responses cannot come out of a pool of three, and five fives cannot average 4.7. The aggregate and the column are counting different populations, and neither one is describing this audio.

Medical claims are not the only thing being bought here, and one response filed on the German storefront is unusually candid about the rest of the package. It calls the author a noted doctor and extremely provocative, recommends the advice without reservation, and then adds that he can be quite prejudicial where women and Scots are concerned. The remark comes from an admirer, which is exactly what makes it valuable. A book of this kind runs on a listener's trust in one person's judgment for its full length, and a response that praises the judgment while naming its blind spots tells you more about the experience ahead than a straightforward recommendation ever could.

Confident Advocacy for Readers Who Want the Case

Recommending this one requires a caveat I would rather state twice than once, so here is the first half of it. As persuasion the book is effective. A response filed on the Canadian storefront describes simple, easy-to-understand terms and calls the writing witty, which matches the plain style the description promises. The audience, then, is anyone who wants the skeptical case delivered clearly and fast: researchers, journalists, clinicians who have to answer these arguments across a consulting room desk, and readers who already hold the position and want it articulated well. All of those get something real out of three hours and forty-seven minutes of confident advocacy.

Nobody should take this as a substitute for medical advice, and the honest version of that sentence runs longer than the usual disclaimer. This is one doctor's case, argued rather than evidenced, on a subject where the stakes are other people's children and where the description names no studies whatsoever. A listener making a real decision needs sources, and the sources are not here. Do not bother if you want a balanced account, since the title rules that out on the cover, and do not expect current material either, because nothing on the page ties the content to anything from the last few years. The reading credit is synthetic rather than a person, so even the delivery goes unattributed. Whether you end up persuaded or infuriated, treat this as a position paper and go looking for the evidence yourself.

This book will SURPRISE its Readers!

This is a book by Dr. Vernon Coleman, D.Sc, MB, ChB. and despite being a high-level professional scientist, he speaks very freely -very candidly. Regarding the dangers of Vaccines, he does not SO MUCH give the reader a tonne of empirical evidence that VACCINES are deleterious (in their currently manufactured...

This book is an easy read but a very informative & important book!

1st of all, I'm a slow reader. I get distracted very easily, so I find myself having to re-read paragraphs. But this book is engaging enough that it wasn't nearly the problem as usual. And it's only 72 pages long, so it's not intimidating.I've felt all the info I read...

Three Cheers for Doctor Coleman

This is an amazing book because it is the voice of an insider - a British doctor - telling the truth about vaccines. Of course there are other brave American doctors like Mendelsohn and Mercola that did this as well, but very few Englishmen that got away with it.No wonder,...
